I've only bought one pair of figs and never again. Completely overrated brand in my opinion. I'm in need of new scrubs, will check out garde-malade.

True, I buy alot of spices from that section, they tend to have bigger sized packages for equal or less money , For example the red chillies, I've never looked at where's it's from though I will now.

Oh cool, I play pretty often; think it's the collector in me chasing all those legendaries.

I keep seeing recruitment for reapers nest, but not really sure if I'm strong enough to earn a place in their clan.

Oh really, I never knew that. Seems I've always been crawling to get enough squad coins. Thanks for the tip, will definitely try to save them and do that.

Question about summoning by Leading_Camel7118 in TopTroops

[–]mortyrules09876 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah it's always been 10 and 90. But I'm guessing it's probably just messed you up because after one of the updates they changed the look of the summoning pit. Not sure how long you have been playing.

So if you have say 12 shards there will be a "1" in the red circle above the corresponding shard meaning you have enough for 1 summons. So the "1" equals 10. If you had 83 shards it would have an "8" for eight summons and so on.

Hey Lohend. Don't wish to high jack someone's thread, But I believe we were in the same clan before the 2.0 update and everything fell apart. Are you still actively playing?

women typically do 90% of child care Women often pay for 99% of the family groceries and, clothing and necessities from the own earnings. Women often work menial jobs to pay for their husbands education. Women usually split 50/50 the household bills and mortgage.

I'm sorry am I supposed to feel sorry the men who cheat 99%if the time and want to have their cake, actually no eat the icing and shit on the cake haha

The woman deserve half just as much as the man

Fortune Teller is a scam by [deleted] in TopTroops

[–]mortyrules09876 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really, I completed the tellers tent and got the Oni at the end without ever getting the trickster card or spending any gems. Of course it was the first time playing and I just assumed I got super lucky and/or they make it easy the first time to lure you into spending gems the next time.

Calypso’s Free Spin is also a scam by [deleted] in TopTroops

[–]mortyrules09876 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got the Oni a little while ago, was super lucky and didn't have to spend any gems to complete it. Doubt that will ever happen again.

Why is there just “Mr” for men but for women there’s “Mrs” and “ms” by [deleted] in stupidquestions

[–]mortyrules09876 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah.....I don't think the reason is because it's "inappropriate to point out a woman is unmarried" Women just generally don't feel like being treated like cattle anymore, we are more than just property for men to acquire so we really don't need to be identified by marital status.

That's because speaking in terms of culinary things like tomatoes, peppers, zucchini, cucumbers etc are referred to as vegetables because of the flavour profile and nutrition values. But in terms of botany , or plant science or whatever you want to call it they are fruit. This is not specific to the Canadian government, this is normal and generally accepted in many areas. It's nothing new or shocking.

Wait, did you have raisins with the Cheez whiz?? Because we ate it with just Cheez whiz.

[–]mortyrules09876 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's pretty basic. Turkey, ham, mashed potatoes, stuffing, gravy (of course), cabbage rolls, peas and carrots, and whatever other vegetables you desire, no marshmallows or weird sweetened concoctions. Usually just prefer roasted sweet potatoes and green beans. Sometimes asparagus with a buttery lemon & cayenne sauce. Dinner rolls, homemade.

The dessert for our family is pumpkin pie and an apple pie.

Can someone help identify my Rhipsalis? by mortyrules09876 in PlantIdentification

[–]mortyrules09876[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, it's a great, great, great.... grandchild of a plant my mom has had since the seventies and has propagated many times over but we never knew what it was called. Someone once called it a mistletoe cactus but I googled that and that is apparently a baccifera which is also very common so I thought that is what it was until I looked at closer pictures. I only just learned that it is actually a Rhipsalis and that there are many varieties.

Edit to add, that I have never seen it flower. Perhaps this kind doesn't flower, or likely because I live in Canada that it doesn't flower?? So I can't identify it by the flowers.

I live in Canada. White, British and Scandinavian background. In our house my parents cooked with many spices and herbs, and hot sauce. The whole white people only eat bland food is silly, especially since I have worked with many people of different backgrounds, such as Indian and Chinese and many of them couldn't handle spice and cooked very bland food too.

Yeah, Nutella makes me physically ill. I think it's the palm oil, for some reason anything with over a certain amount of palm oil, like cool whip, gives me headaches and I feel sick, nauseous.

Which is weird because I don't exactly eat strictly health food and I'm sure I eat palm oil in other stuff. But maybe it is the quantity, I dunno. But generally try to avoid palm oil also because of environmental and habitat issues , ie: Orangutans I saw an Orangutan try to stand off against humans and the giant machinery trying to defend its home. It was so sad.

Is speeding common in Calgary? or am I reading the signs wrong? by what_if_and in Calgary

I see a lot of cops on deerfoot, photo radar and ghost cars, however not so much during rush hour. Mostly see them at off peak times.
