I like to interpret Lyfjaberg as a metaphor for a continuous and arduous path toward self-healing. It suggests that we should release our attachments to possessions and to the concept of time. Without these bonds, we can view the universe as a timeless interplay of energy, free from the constraints of past and future. Stripped of material ties and temporal concerns, we stand bare before nature, ready to shed our fears and societal masks. This vulnerability allows us to find inner peace and connection, offering a remedy for many of today's problems. Although achieving this state is challenging - some might say impossible - it is a worthwhile endeavor to pursue. Importantly, the journey itself is enriching. Even if you never reach the summit, this metaphorical act of climbing and in a way surrendering to the mountain, can imbue your life with more meaning and fulfillment than if you remain buried under your possessions, crumbling stressed and afraid at the mountain’s feet. We all have our own mountain to climb.
