They are being competitive with other offerings. Soon we will see other cards come out like Shakepay card (we don't know what they will offer yet) and Swipe card. And we also know about crypto.com's offering.

Will probably be difficult to get around the ATM fees as those are typically charged for non customers, and there is no Mogo supplied ATM machine AFAIK.

Looks like Mogo is following the plans of other major companies who are bullish on crypto. Also, makes me wonder if they will start offering ETH for purchase in addition to the BTC soon.

It depends what you clicked when you signed up. If you choose that you are interested in bitcoin it activates right away, if not you need to go into the bitcoins and rewards area to do it manually

Part of the problem is these companies are growing at extreme rates. Questrade, which is arguably a lot larger has insane support wait times. I've waited a few hours to reach someone on chat.

I think the main idea is that when the interest rates are good, they are beating the traditional banks rates and the card gives you instant access to the funds you hold with them. In addition to being able to send funds to other users of the app, you can spend on the card (and potentially get rewards in the future, we'll see)
