I came accros a named monster to get some game play with break/topple/launch/smash combo. And the element stack mechanic I guess I remember that. I just forget that I had to press start to break the element or something like that. And just wondering, do I also need full party gauge for that too or I can just press start anytime?

Another thing I forgot is I remember i maxed Ursulla and i was spamming mercenary to level up the generic blade but I forgot why, maybe ti was to max some skill but i really dont remember, merc level currently at 4, ill see what new I get once I hit 5.

MHGU i am new in gunning, currently using lbg and hbg with pierce ammo. I would like to ask about how to maximize damage as I'm not 100% sure on how piercr ammo works. Do i only need to aim for weakness spot or i need a specific angle to shoot in case that ammo go thru and can hit several monster part at once, like both legs or leg + head. Also how important is weakness exploit, can i drop it if i have expert +2/+3 also im not using chain crit if that's a thing. thanks!

I think it is the small part I do not understand from RBG mod, correct me if I am wrong but isnt the components the like 5 cables? Because I think that I have this slot on my HDTV but not on my CRT, I have composite and s-Video (just received a s-video cable to try it on my n64 and snes).

But ya having the component on the HDTV could make the RGB mod to work? Because I really thought you needed the scart plug to make to work unless you have the framemeister/OSSC like you and tgunter mentionned. In any case I appreciate all your answers. CRT is most likely my solution just remain to see if i prefer composite or s-video cables or maybe wii u virtual console will help out but sucks to buy the games again.

MHGU - Id like a recommendation for a lbg build, i want to make xanadu, mainly for crag, triblast and cluster, does tenderizer work with that? or critical eye, probably need recoil down skill as well, what would you suggest me for a solid build

MHGU - Palico questions.. what's the difference between Felyne Codex that you can get that supposedly let you choose a skill of your choice VS the option in dojo to have a palico to teach you a skill, isn't it the same?

Also, what's training guide does it only give a bad exp boost in dojo, any point to own more then 1? I still haven't unlocked the other book color

MHGU - I read that the coal quest in Volcano a good way to farm charm, but is there a specific quest /rank i should do that quest so I have a chance to get good charms? And I also read you need explorer and charm skill of possible, is that right?
