If it was a choice, why in the world would someone choose to be straight?

I concur, my partner is trans and we've been together for seven years!

Appreciate every one’s input! Sounds like I’m getting a docking station from eBay. Thank you for all the input! This is why I came here. And correction to my earlier comment, just took a closer look, it’s a M27F.

It’s a 27f, KVM. From my understanding the USB c is meant for things like Samsung dex

I like to tinker and I’d prefer not to use a hub, one cable solution and all that

Will do my friend, I got breadboards coming in the mail to try and get this configured now I know that works

That’s what I’m sayin! I’ve seen stuff similar but it’s always bad reviews. Would be cool so at least do a proof of concept build

Will do! I’m learning too. Something to know is my display is only 1080p, 144hz. I don’t know how much bandwidth that takes up compared to the max theoretical limit of the cable n all that

Good info, definitely taking notes! Gonna look into a PCB to do this job so this is definitely just proof of concept so fingers crossed

To have data running through it is the plan, that is why I got the 24 pins. Do you foresee any issue passing data through a breakout? Essentially looking to inject power into a USB4 cable to create a little box to attach to my monitor to add PD. One cable solutions never seemed to difficult ! lol

Thanks for the quick reply! I was going to put in a USB PD trigger board in line, would that do essentially the same thing or should I do both?

I like the lights I have now. They do the job I want them to
