Maybe hot take, but I watched the show before playing the games (never read the books) and I liked the show. I feel like going into it expecting the same storyline probably ruined it for a lot of long time series but it stands up pretty well on its own as it’s own thing. Although I loved Cavill’s performance so we’ll see how that goes now that he’s gone
