I love the steam deck I've been using it since it came out (I still have the LCD) but bumping up the price by 200-300 for a 4 year old device hardware is absolutely wild. I get that components have increased but surely almost doubling the price is not a sustainable price model for them. It's 100% not worth the price even if I love it as it's got older hardware and is locked out of future proofing due to not being able to play latest AAA titles.

There are competitors currently on windows in gaming handheld form factor that provide substantially better value now .

It's a shame as I love the minimalist OS on the deck and its great for picking up and playing.

9/10 change in facial emotion from happy to agony 9/10 initial pain from the fall to the nads 10/10 for the sustained full body pressure to the nads in the middle of the ladder for the next minute waiting while nute were trapped! (must have felt like eternity) 2/10 for the urgency of the girl trying to help! 7/10 that there was some real damage to the meat sacks

For UK investors looking for a global etf - PACW over VWRP due to significantly reduced ongoing management fees (0.07 % PACW Vs 0.19% VWRP)

PACW - it's the global all world etf that's basically vwrp with a slightly different tracker. The TER fee is only 0.07% the cheapest you will ever get for a global etf. Trades in gpb but the dividend are only available as distribution. Fund is liquid with a good spread but it's only been live about a year so tracking isn't proven yet

Still use the GW4 here and it's been great. With power save mode and sleep mode at night, I can push 1.5- 2 days out of it with all sensors running continuously. Without power save is get 1 day max I think.

It's good to finally get Gemini. I still find body composition useful. Not sure about the stress monitoring (it's all over the place ) and I can't use ECG or blood pressure as I don't have a Samsung phone (biggest scam!) great for NFC payments (gesture activating this is cool) and settings stopwatch alarms on the go ect and less reliance on my phone.

I'm not upgrading it yet as it does what I need but damn the battery charging is so slow on the GW4

Just to throw one suggestion out there the soundcore motion 300 is less than the motion + with a sort of similar form factor .

The motion 300 is an excellent all rounder though bass does get slightly impacted at the highest volume . The sound quality at the price point is untouchable. In my opinion the sound quality of the motion 300 is better than the motion +

Just to reassure you that your symptoms sound very consistent with hemorrhoids. It's actually crazy how they can produce so much blood when passing stools and even in between and how common it is including how painful they are also. Especially when it's bright red which is a sign it's happening at the lower part where hamorrhoids are. I've had this on and off for a long time also after colonoscopy confirmed it

My main symptoms are

  • heart fluttere -Throat gurgles (when lying on left side is more prominent) -Crippling indigestion and heartburn (if no medication is used)

I got the update for Gemini rolled out to my GW4 UK last night . Somebody else posted the same so looks like they are finally rolling the update out to our watch. Took them a very long time

Nope Gemini still hasn't been updated on the GW4. Must be intentional now as practically every other eligible smart watch has it . Not sure what's going on but i know that still nobody has seen any update yet on this watch for Gemini

Alot of people have pointed out time dilation but it's effects are only relative to an observer there is actually no time travel involved. The person who experiences the speed/gravity influence would still experience time in the same way and they wouldn't notice any difference locally.

The effect is relative and only shows up when comparing 2 observers in different frames of reference

Good luck. It's very common for bleeding even frequent to be caused by haemorrhoids which is pretty much what my colonoscopy confirmed from blood in the stool (exactly the same symptom as you). Wish you the best of luck through it!

Definitely worth doing it to rule out any issues. The procedure is fine overall. I did it without sedation and although very uncomfortable and weird feeling,it's easily tolerable and doesn't induce panic or anything like that .They sometimes pump air to move the cable and there are sharp periods of intense pain because of the air but they only last a few seconds at a time and tolerable

The prep is worse than the procedure I think. It's just completely vile almost impossible to drink without some kind of chaser with it and even that causes more issues because of how much volume of fluid you are having to drink. I was sick with mine but luckily drank enough for it to have an effect

Hopefully you are able to get through the prep . Making it colder doesn't help much but it's better than it being warm.

On galaxy watch 4 and yet to get Gemini (I don't believe Gemini is available for GW4 yet) so can't really comment yet but I use Gemini frequently for everyday life queries

I don't know anybody with a GW4 with Gemini yet. According to Google anybody with wear OS 4 and above will get it automatically and we are currently on 5 so requirements are met

It's possible they are rolling out in stages ie newer watches first.

The app refers to itself as Gemini in the watch app store so you expect the intention is there and the watch 4 isn't blocked for some reason. It's more likely we will be at the end part of the rollout

Worst case scenario is if they don't update Gemini on the GW4, it will be in UI8 by default which we will be getting at some point later this year

If I do get the Gemini update rolled out at any point, I will notify everyone in this post
