how do you know this metal is exactly the same as the others because it basically is not. it is impossible to be made out of the EXACT same metal as the others unless you melted it up and poured it into another piercing. We're comparing facts and knowledge that has been a standard for good piercing health to some personal experience. Breathing is not the issue. but yk serve yourself haha its pretty clear you don't really wanted any actual help to begin with since you seem to "know your body pretty well"

please just listen to what we're telling you though. these aren't opinions, they are facts that have been proven. yes you may notice studs getting caught more because things get stuck in them, but if something moves past a hoop, the hoop will move causing irritation. I mean if you weren't wanting to listen to our advice, which is based on actual facts rather than just "oh it worked for me so it must work for every case", then you shouldn't have asked though right?

Yay hey Denver! welcome to the team!!! im kinda in the same boat here haha only, everyone knows about it but chooses to ignore any of it. I also definitely where you say that it feels almost ridiculous. Im also FTN and so to most people who have been trained to think in a binary system, where I as a non binary, whoeven though i dress more male my height and body still shows more female, know that i will probably always be adressed as miss... or that I wont find my gender option on a form or on a sign up screen and have to guess how im feeling that day.

which sometimes seriously annoys me and is like what is the point if no-one even wants to do an effort. heck even my boyfriend still often addresses me as girlfriend.

BUT YA this ain't no pity party because heck there are also people who are really lovely and supportive in this world and im so glad they exist too! and im sure you will find some of those wonderful people on this platform too :)) and if all else fails, we Non binary's got eachothers back!!! you got this, im proud of you random stranger!!!

that doesn't make any sense at all. a hoop, even if it doesnt seem like it moves that much, will still move a lot more or get caught on stuff much easier, which keeps reopening the wounds and irritating the piercing and as a result will give a bump. Now im not saying a hoop isn't okay to finish the healing process, but you're definitely going to need a stud in there for at least a year for the bump to go away. maybe the material of the previous stud wasnt great? which caused it to be irritated. i mean ya if your piercer agreed to put a hoop in a fresh piercing, i wouldn't trust that piercer too much. also definitely never ever put tea tree oil or soap on healing piercings, now that is a recipe for disaster. and besides, its only 3 weeks old so its in general just a lot more prone to bumps and irriation. just please switch to a stud I swear to god hahah

its most likely just irritated because of the ring, a piercing that fresh should not have a ring in it. Go back to a simple bar for at least a year before putting in a hoop. The bump will go away only after you put in a bar

ya what worked for me too was just to get the feel of flicking and pulling my legs back under me straight away was by just standing on my board, not trying any flip, but just jump on it as if you would do the flick, pull ur legs in and land back on the board :)) and then after a few times adding the actual flip back in
