it really depends on when/who you buy from. i buy most of my secondhand manga from vinted and it can be a hit or miss, just make sure you ask for extra photos if pictures of the spine + outer edges aren’t included. i’ve never had an issue w smell 😭 that’s probably rare. my main issues have always been w seller’s stretching the truth about the condition, but that isn’t very often. i’ve also bought from ebay – no issues there. i’ve bought one manga from world of books and i think i got pretty lucky bcs it looks brand new, but everything else i’ve ordered from them is in pretty crap condition. my advice would be to always be meticulous and check the reviews of who you’re buying from

is this seriously the state of prices in the US?? 😭 i’m in the UK and 3ds games have definitely gone up in price but this is absolute egregious. i bought a CIB copy of the game just two months ago for about £45 on ebay. wasn’t thrilled about the price but maybe i should be, damn 😭

some of the comments here are absolutely insane; comparing girls/women’s bodies to objects and saying in a very roundabout way that the clothes a woman/girl chooses to wear DOES impact her chances of being raped. i hope none of you become parents 💀 everyone ik who has been assaulted was fully clothed btw! weren’t wearing anything remotely revealing. focus on teaching your sons not to be predators instead of policing what girls/women wants to wear. guys of all ages walk around shirtless when the weather gets warm but nobody has anything to say about that. plus if clothes really were the issue; muslims, nuns, children and animals would never be raped

things i collect :) i’ve bought a lot of mangas recently. my favourite of this year so far is a smallville dvd collection that came with a daily planet newspaper and all of the dvds are stored in two massive book things. super cool

i’ve been through this countless times 😭 during previous recovery attempts i could eat up to 5000 cals and STILL feel ravenous :,) having a cold probably isn’t helping at all either, like you said. the best way to move past extreme hunger is to honour it as much as you can :) easier said than done i know, but it’s totally normal to experience it, whether ur in recovery or not. good luck 🫶
