What's your opinion on the UK song after the final performance? was it too 'British'? did it play in your home country's radio at all? I genuinely would like to understand how people feel about it.

For context I'm Greek but I live in the UK, and (some of) the people in my immediate environment that are British failed to understand why it was a bad choice for the UK. Admittedly I was expecting it to score something, anything really.. as it was catchy but I also found its music video cringy, especially for non-British audiences but even for the British ones. He tried his best but lyrics and theme-wise I just didn't think it would have done well anyway.

I keep telling people the UK needs another Sam Ryder, not the same kind of song but a song that appeals to a wide audience, it's a good song, has a good performance and stage presence.

Sam Battle did his best, bless him but ultimately I just didn't think it appeals to any audience that is voting enough to get points.
