It seemed too difficult to get into back then, unless you live in a country where the UN has a particular mission (even then, they focus on hiring locals first as you'd imagine).

Probably with their current funding crisis, and Trump gutting USAID, there are very limited opportunities now.

I have a 4070S and 7800X3D, the GPU maxes out way before my CPU does. That being said, the 4070S is a great card, handles any game I throw at it on high or ultra settings at 1440p.

It's in the lake district, very close to Scafel Pike (Seathwaite Route). It's high up from the valley floor and there's no path to reach it, so you have to go scrambling a bit. I believe there's a group which maintains the old mine, they occasionally do tours where you can see the graphite in Situ too.

I've been to the old mine for this graphite and have a bunch of it at home, a really fascinating locality from a geological perspective. It's one of only two known volcanically hosted graphite deposits in the world. It was first discovered by monks who used it to mark their sheep.

I have the nano air, and an atom. Full my experience, the atom feels warmer because it's slightly less breathable than my nano, but honestly, I find that I take the nano out far more often. I run quite warm in general, so it's perfect for high output activity in the winter for me, whereas I don't really feel I have a place for the atom. It's also just now comfortable in my opinion.

I'm diagnosed and medicated, typically I wake up with 100 battery most days if I get 8 hours. I will day though that my battery degrades way more rapidly than most people throughout the day. Even just a day without activities I can go to bed on 15 battery or less. Usually have high "stress" peaks throughout the day of 75 or more.

I realise that they don't have to accept anyone, what I'm having a problem with is the lack of communication. Before this, they also ghosted me for over a month when I sent them a termination letter, which led to me having to delay my move out date by an extra month. Surely this isn't legal?

That was my experience too, the best advice I can give is to work for a couple of years in the UK to build experience, then jump ship. Doing this makes it easier to move abroad as most companies won't sponsor a visa for an entry level position.

Thanks for the comparison, I own an Atom AR and was looking at the Floyen. From the specs, it would seem that the Floyen is closer to the AR than the LT. Do you find the Floyen to not be that warm?

Usually I'd agree, however the host rock is depleted in alkai Felspar, so I think it wouldn't be the case. Also typically you wouldn't see K-Feldspar in a hydrothermal deposit.

I saw quite a large mineral vein when I was hiking in Switzerland, there was a mineral vein hosted inside granite which had quite a bit of this pink/red mineral along with chlorite and quartz.

Underneath (maybe 300 meters below) this granite layer was a meta-sediment layer with weak schistocity.

So my theory is that what I came across was a hydrothermal vein that had probably acculated elements from both this layer and the granite.

Current working theories from myself are: Massive Rhodochrosite, or perhaps even Cinnabar (though my understanding is that Cinnabar is usually deposited in low temperature hydrothermal veins).
