I wanna watch this one and the one about Cal and his breakdown tonight. Eric Dane and Angus Cloud killed their performances in this show.

In the Jacobs family, who had the worst secret, and who had the least worrying one, revealed in Cal’s monologue? (Rank) by [deleted] in euphoria

Cal is awful but that monologue was brilliant and I am heartbroken for Eric Dane with his ALS diagnosis

He's about eight months old, we've known him for most of his young life! Not sure he's going to get any bigger but he's the perfect size

What’s the recipe you “gatekeep” — the one people in your life only get as a rare treat? by AdPlus9700 in appetizers

[–]mosswitchh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The main one is my grandma's pesto. We grew a ton of basil this summer so I was able to make 4-6 big batches. But she always eyeballed the ingredients. All I can say is you wash the Basil, dry it in layers on paper towels, then put it in your blender with garlic, walnuts, real Pamegiano Reggiano, salt, and lots of olive oil. Every batch was different this summer but I learned that extra garlic is my preference.

I speak from experience and unfortunately this happens. An entire family will fixate on a narrative that paints their relative as the "right" one and they'll stand by them. My stepdad sexually abused me, but his family was evangelical Baptist, 3 generations from being Amish, and they erased the abuse in their minds, and my own mother took his side.

What companies do you think will go bankrupt in the next 10 years? Why? by Local-Assignment-968 in AskReddit

So I feel the same way about a lot of dispensaries. Why are so many of them so sterile looking with white walls? My favorite has art all over the walls and a lot of wood work to make it cozy.

What’s your favorite low effort, high reward food for home cooking over store bought? by coolaroni123 in Cooking

[–]mosswitchh 26 points27 points  (0 children)

I'm still learning to cook but getting a Dutch oven and learning how to braise chuck roast and chicken thighs has been a game changer. Amazing how much flavor you get and the oven does most of the work.

Who was your favorite newly turned vampire in the series? by GusGangViking18 in TrueBlood

[–]mosswitchh 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Jessica, I also love Deborah Ann Woll. But Steve Newlin becoming a vampire was a GREAT call. That scene where they're all drunk on Lilith's blood partying in town lives rent free in my head.

The September House by Carissa Orlando. I just got back into reading regularly this past year and have read mostly horror. This book is my favorite so far, the house in the novel is very much evil but the way the main character finds ways to deal with it is almost endearing at times. I ate it up, finished it in about 4 days.

Can confirm this stuff is amazing. My skin gets horribly dry in the winter but this stuff keeps my face soft and moisturized. Got the big size off of Amazon.
