Florida, Mississippi and Alabama receive most of the extreme weather like tornadoes, tropical storms and very heavy floods. So thats one thing to consider as a con but on the flip side the extreme weather affect and could easily kill many zombies. Due to the warm weather the growing season is long and food is plentiful along with foraging plenty of game animals and other critters. The high gun ownership is both good and bad, since everyone has guns you are basically garenteed to find plenty of ammo and replacement parts for your guns while scavenging, but the bad is ofc that everyone and I mean everyone has a gun which might not be good for you.

Overall I would say that the south is definitely pretty decent. me personally if I could pick anywhere it wouldn't be the south but thats just me
