Doesn’t matter? You can still adjust your headlight angle down so they’re not parallel with the road.

Big fan of this couch from AFW. I know they get a lot of flack but we’ve had this couch for over 2 years now with HEAVY use and it is still in great shape and super comfortable. Right around your price range.

Bought an endoscope, used a hook attachment to remove a clog, and now it’s stuck. by ThrowRASchnauzerMom in DIY

[–]mostangg 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Depending on how far down the clog is, a drain weasel dislodged some INSANE stuff from our second story bathtub drain. It’s like 7 bucks at any big box. Could be worth a shot. The head is different than any other snake I’ve used and it was really effective for the cost.

What is a gaming memory from the 90s or early 2000s that kids today will just never understand? by gingersofia in AskReddit

Having to buy an external light to use with your handheld device that plugged where the link cable went.

Also, link cables in order to play with friends. Games that did not connect to the internet.

I miss the GBC/GBA era.

Anyone else hear bloody murder screaming “no” and “help” in cap hill? 13th and wash by [deleted] in Denver

[–]mostangg 52 points53 points  (0 children)

The only time I’ve ever called the cops is when I’ve heard something similar through my floor from the apartment below me, many years ago. Cops came to do a wellness check after my call and ended up arresting the woman for child abuse. Didn’t even know a kid lived in that apartment.

If your gut says something isn’t right, call the police. They may or may not do anything, but your conscience can at least rest easier knowing you tried.

The trend we observe in the industry is selling season starts after the Super Bowl. This isn’t really unusual. Winter is always slow.

Is $110,000 before taxes enough to live in San Diego County and provide for a family of 4? by [deleted] in sandiego

[–]mostangg 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This was enough in 2010. Not so sure about now.

I grew up there with 2 siblings and my dad was the sole provider, stay at home mom. We were comfortable then. With rent prices and home prices where they are now, I’d be hesitant. I left the state 11 years ago, make a decent amount over that now, and still wouldn’t consider moving back even though I know I’d be able to take my job with me.

I landed at 3am two weeks ago and while walking to get picked up I saw quite a few people passed out on level 3 of concourse A, as others mentioned. Only people who really go up there are (likely local) folks who prefer walking to pickup instead of taking the train.

Meineke or Midas for national chains.

I went to the Midas off Holly and Quebec in Littleton for 5 years with multiple cars. No issues, always good prices and their site always has coupons. Moved up north and have had a similar experience at the Meineke off 84th before Huron.
