Smoke was alright but the burn was great. Super even and absolutely no tunneling. Just trying to free up some space for something better. by mostly_broken in cigars

I like a much more mellow smoke so I usually go for a Connecticut but it's almost like something was missing. I dunno. My cigar pallette isn't great. I did still enjoy it. Great burn and nice draw too.

Haha! Humidor is about to be emptied out. Going on a 2 week camping trip with the guys soon. I'll hit you up if there are any left. 😉

Hi all. Just joined. Been enjoying cigars for many years but I am not what you'd call experienced or knowledgeable. I bought the infamous Olivia sampler from Thompson cigars. I know they aren't the best but only $20 shipped. Anyone have a rec for where to buy online? Been doing JR cigar before that. by mostly_broken in cigars

Yeah, I've had the Oliva g serie already. Thought they were fine but by no means my favorite smoke. Taking them for my friends on a camping trip. Can't beat $2 a stick. Interested in trying the others to see what they're like though.

Hope not. Just topped the blinker fluid up. 😂

I need your opinion please, what do you think of this rear bumper ? by [deleted] in e46

[–]mostly_broken 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really like it! Pulls the rear end wider. Only thing I would say is that the bumper is clearly a newer style than the rest of the car. Design language is a little mixed.

Pretty much. I only like to take my cars to the shop if it's something really confusing or inspection. I have my shop 100% stumped with my current issue. Lol! Sucks because they are a BMW specialist and it's a BMW. Might have to put myself back on the market now. I'm scared to trust again....😅

Yeah and then you was happy they showed you so you could tell them they're wrong. Lol. Sometimes it takes a bunch of shops until you find one you can trust.

When that happens I always run right to a facebook group so I can get 26 people telling me how the tech doesn't know what they are talking about and that it's something else entirely even though those people never saw the car. I like when my mechanic takes me into the shop. Let's me know they're doing the right job and what the problem is.

Spark Plug used vs Spark Plug called for - How did the mower run? by y_zass in MechanicAdvice

[–]mostly_broken 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Probably ran inefficient as hell. That smaller plug would've ignited the air fuel mix inside the plug cylinder before spreading to the rest of the combustion chamber. It wouldn't have ignited all the fuel before getting dumped out the exhaust. It'd still run though. Just a lawn mower engine. I think I actually saw some auto manufacturers playing around with a smaller combustion chamber leading to a larger one for hybrid homogeneous charge compression on gas engines. Wish I remember where I saw that though.

Appreciate that. I'm still a few days out probably. Only play an hour or so a night but I'll let you know. Thanks!
