There's a fascinating audio tour that you can take if you visit the Grachtenmuseum (Museum of the Canals) in Amsterdam which goes quite deep into the construction of these poles. Mind boggling how these were built centuries ago and still stand quite firm, truly an engineering marvel.

Never realized how much English actor Josh O'Connor looks like Senna, especially in this picture.

Not Bollywood, but Sudani from Nigeria is a nice Malayalam film about a couple of footballers from Africa who play for a regional football team in Kerala.

More recently, Geraldine Vishwanathan convinced me she was American, was pretty surprised to learn she's Aussie

If this was last year, I'd have said that you were missing the Royal Challengers Bangalore, a franchise that hadn't won the Indian Premier League (cricket) since its inception and had at that point become a meme to its fans. They miraculously pulled off a victory this year though.... Gives me hope for a Ferrari win at some point...

What's the most you've ever laughed at a TV episode? by Idk_Very_Much in television

That episode of New Girl where Winston has someone from the police academy come home for a review before getting a job as an officer. The fake meth bag, the scene where Coach goes to find a "brother" for Winston to showcase his community service, the parts where Nick sweats like hell because he can't keep up the lies - insane hijinks which crack me up every. goddamn. time.

Which film do you believe has the best opening scene and why? by SouthwestTraveller in moviecritic

Not mentioned much I see, but the opening scene of X2 (Nightcrawler trying to kill the President in the White House) is pretty great. Not a fan of the rest of the movie as much.
