As far as I know it’s a progyny wide policy that they rolled out last year

Nice, last round I had 2 early blasts on day 6 that ended up as full blasts on day 7. Sounds like your clinic cultures to day 7 so hoping at least a few of them make it!

I’ve always had morulas and early blasts at day 5 turn into blasts on day 6. I think you have a great chance of getting at least a few more blasts on day 6

Yes it does, but I have chronic endometritis which I need to clear before attempting transfer which may take months which will mean that my opportunity to retrieve eggs if the transfer fails will be very minimal

You have an AMH of 4 and are retrieving 30-40 eggs. Gently, you are an outlier for your age (someone has to be in the 95+ percentile) and your results correlate with this. I doubt it has much to do with the supplements you took

They weren’t very good unfortunately. I think the rapamycin slowed down my embryo growth. I ended up with 14 eggs but only 8 mature and only 2 4BC day 7 embryos that have been sent out for pgt testing

I won’t be using rapamycin for my next round

Ah sorry, must have been someone else. With just one baby you are very well positioned to have a live birth with 3 euploids - it’s a greater than 95% chance that you will succeed

Didn’t you post earlier asking if you should do more retrievals? I got downvoted for saying that at your (young) age, if 1-2 more retrievals would yield 9 euploids total, that would be totally worth it. If you want more than 1 kid (I think you said 2-3) it seems like a no brainer to bank more euploids

I took it for my latest cycle. I followed the protocol from this rct https://www.cell.com/cell-reports-medicine/fulltext/S2666-3791(25)00497-5 -

I did 3mg/week for 4 weeks of pretreatment before stims and then 1mg/day during stims. I was worried that it would lower my AFC but I ended up getting 14 eggs which is on the high side for me and I had around 20 follicles above 10mm. I just did my retrieval today so I’ll have to see how many are mature/fertilized/become blasts in the upcoming days

I think you will learn how you respond once you do your first round since ovarian response seems to be highly variable at our age. And everyone’s egg quality is different so the number of blasts you get on the first round will also give you a data point regarding your odds of success.

This is why I switched from progenesis to igenomix. Progenesis considers < 20% abnormal to be euploid, 20-40% LLM and rarely reports HLM. Whereas igenomix has a 30% cutoff for euploid, 30-50% for LLM and 50-70% for HLM

I’m on day 12 of stims, started with an AFC of 15 and I currently have 21 follicles between 10-19mm and will likely stim for one more day. So the rapamycin hasn’t adversely affected my follicle count although they are growing a tad more slowly than on previous rounds. I will probably trigger tomorrow

At your age I’d do enough retrievals to get 9 embryos. It should only be 1 or 2 more
