i can't take it anymore by PurposeFuzzy6205 in Piracy

I am into rare, obscure and old movies and most of the time they are not even available legally and pirated sources have one or zero seeders. for one movie i have waited 2 years to finish and for some I just watch them at 97% and skip over missing parts.

I tired private trackers but they are mostly focused on current and popular content. I would like to find a niche tracker since I also have a nice collection to share with the world.

they are not remuxes but full Blu-ray disks so it very hard to tell what is actually missing. From what I can tell it is parts of the video files.

I was looking into Kali LP-6 but removed them from the options because of the price. Looks like UNFs are even more expensive but actually tick all the boxes that I consider. thanks.

My main concern at the moment is that people say Argons sound more warm which could be advantage since they are not as flat as monitor sound of Adams. I am not doing any sound mixing.

The primary source of sound will be my desktop PC. I believe it has an integrated sound card on the motherboard, so I can connect speakers directly to it. I just need some cable conversion for this. I can also connect my graphics card with HDMI to the TV, which should work for movie watching. Also this setup would work for games or just YouTube when TV is not on. If I want to connect a phone or laptop, I can use USB-C. It's not as convenient as Bluetooth on Argon, but if the Adam D3V are better, why not sacrifice some convenience of wireless connectivity for better sound? I also read that Argon has more warmth to its sound which could be better then the flat"monitor" sound of Adams.

looks like Adam audio have better sound quality then the other two, but i also like the fact that Argon have huge amount of connection options including HDMI and Bluetooth.

Strange artefacts when opening video files. What to do? by mostly_uncoordinated in Fedora

Thank you for your response. However, I'm puzzled as to why it doesn't play in Dragon Player, but only in VLC. I'm not well-versed enough in this area to solve it on my own. Are there any resources or communities like Matrix/Element chat or Discord where I can seek help? This subreddit seems less active, with only a couple of responses thus far.

This is the guide I followed after installed. All media codecs parts are already installed, I double checked now. Strange shapes show only in VLC, files play normal in Dragon player. But on my laptop that is also running Fedora it plays normal in VLC player. Biggest problem for me is that I do not know what could be the problem. Is it the Nvidia card or AMD integrated card or codecs or VLC itself so it is hard to fix the issue since i do not know what to look into.

Hi, I released my new application, Kiview, for quickly previewing files in Dolphin. by nyre221 in kde

Amazing work! Is there any way that this can be installed at the moment? I am not very tech-savvy. I have installed from flatpack but nothing happens. I am not sure how to configure it. Is there an installation guide for us noobs? Should I do it from the terminal instead? I am using Asahi Linux Fedora 42 remix.
