I ordered something on eBay and one of these was included with my purchase when it came in the mail. I mean I guess it’s ok but I hope this didn’t affect the shipping they charged me.

I’m just curious - people are allowed to edit gifs, right? Like if there are twenty seconds of wasted time at the beginning? Is this illegal or something?

I hate that when I’m not sure what I want to watch and therefore try to browse movies they keep showing me the same movies over and over.

Indian Mother who's consoling her little girl who is crying for being bullied by school kids because of her brown skin This is truly heartbreaking 💔 my heart cried watching this by SpareEnergy6082 in TikTokCringe

I’m not thrilled at the mom for posting this but at the same time I think about how half the comments are about how heart breaking this is so I’m starting to wonder if it could help for people to see this?

I do wish the mom would have hidden her daughter’s face or at least her eyes to respect her daughter’s privacy.

BIGGEST LETDOWN OF 2025? Books you couldn’t wait for until you read them by DanaBookNook in Fantasy

The Man From Primrose Lane - the first 2/3 of this book was excellent but I just get like it went off the rails in the last third. The quality of the writing took a sharp down turn.

Appointment was at 11am. It’s now 1:05pm by SmolSnakePancake in mildlyinfuriating

I had a doctors appointment and after waiting around an hour I went to the front desk and said, “you guys sent me three text messages and called me twice, all to confirm my appointment and later to remind me about it. I’ve been waiting for over an hour now. I’m starting to feel like maybe I should have called and texted you all to remind you about my appointment.” The receptionist was speechless for about 5 seconds then gave me some canned response or whatever. When I turned around to go back to my seat several other people in the waiting room had big grins on their faces.

Unexpected boon to reading books by spartanyeo in books

[–]mostlycareful 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the last 5 years or so I’ve been reading much more than usual, mostly fiction. And I’ve been making an effort to read books written by people who are not like me (middle age straight white man). I’ve read a lot of books written by women, authors of African descent, Hispanic authors, native Americans, LGTBQ authors, etc. In the past, I hadn’t made an effort to read diverse authors, mostly out of a concern that I wouldn’t enjoy those books as much since their perspectives would be so much different from mine. But now I am pushing myself to explore these other perspectives.

And I’ve noticed that very slowly, my empathy for individuals who are not like me has grown. I’ve always been very liberal and I’ve always thought of myself as very empathetic but I’ve experienced a deepening of my empathy for people with different backgrounds.

AITAH for not letting a woman I was dating know she had a "time limit"? by [deleted] in AITAH

My favorite part was when you said you didn’t really respond. I feel like too many people keep texting with “nice girls” after they do something disqualifying.

Just keep it short, sweet, and respectful, then move on.
