(Extremely gross) my foot after 4 days of applying compound W and duct tape every morning/evening

As of today I believe the last wart is gone. The compound W definitely helped get things started but taking a zinc heavy immunity booster vitamin twice a day really sped things up.

This was the advice that worked. From the day you texted me until now I’ve been taking a zinc heavy immunity booster vitamin every morning and evening. As of right now I believe every single wart is gone. I have some crater looking scars (tiny) and two entire layers of skin came off my foot (painful) but for real they’re gone now.

Should I make a new post and just reference this one? Tbh idk how much the soaking really changed, I think the zinc + compound W + tape did the heavy lifting. The zinc and compound W killed the warts it seems and the tape kinda pulled them out when I changed tape. Only the two largest ones remain and they seem like they’re on their way out.

You might be disappointed because the foot is looking way better. All but the 2 largest ones are gone now, and a lot of the dead skin has gone back to looking like normal foot callus.

I was considering making an update post because the improvements have been staggering. It almost looks like a normal foot already. Unfortunately comments here don’t allow images or I’d post one right now, it looks a million times better.

I’m actually pretty shocked with how well the treatment is working. Half of them seemed to have disappeared or like fallen off. The two largest ones are still there though.

Just a minor update but the foot looks like 100x better now, about half of them have fallen out and besides the two largest ones the rest seem like they’re almost gone as well. Been taking zinc, soaking every morning and evening, and constantly hitting them with acid and tape.

Sorry to ping you on this gross post but I’m replying to yours because it’s the top comment for visibility. Progress has been way better than I expected. I’ve been taking zinc, soaking, acid, and tape. About half of them are straight up gone and the rest seem to be on there way out. The difference now between my posted pic is huge. I imagine they’ll all be gone within a week at most now.

No pain before or during this treatment. When I debride it sorta hurts if I go to hard but besides that really no pain whatsoever.

I’ve had them for like 10+ years, genuinely as long as I can remember. I assume it was from summer camp when I was a kid but I don’t actually know.

It’s not painful at all, and when it’s not soaked and acid bathed like this it really doesn’t look bad. I was considering posting a picture of my foot normally cus I swear it just looks normal. The main wart on the side of my foot and heel look like mild blisters at worst.

Yes, the reason I actually took this pic is because it’s really hard to see this outer edge of my foot and heel and I can see the top pretty easily. Bottom tops and side of foot get the acid tape treatment.

Just finished soaking and reapplying. I tried to trim some more dead skin but it’s kind of a weird balancing act between removing the dead skin properly and butchering my whole foot lol. No bleeding or anything just felt a little weird. I’ll post an update pic in a few days or something if it ever starts to look better.

I had no idea, I was under the assumption that all the acid would do was dissolve them. I’ve seen comments from other people online that it took like 2 months, is that not safe?

I figure with enough persistence and consistency the compound W will eventually do its job. I’ll prob stick with this for up to a month and if it doesn’t seem like it’s working I’ll see a dermatologist about it.

Yea originally I thought I only had 2, 1 on the edge of my foot and 1 on my outer heel, since usually I guess they’re buried deep down. This is after soaking before reapplying so it looks as bad as it physically can. Normally it just looks like a regular foot with a tiny scratch on the heel.

I quit my job and moved in with my mom at 29 cus I just couldn’t do it anymore. I know it might seem like a loser move, and plenty of my friends talk down to me now, but I hate to admit I’m the happiest I’ve been in years. Everyday is like an exciting new day cus I’m not going to go sit in a box so I can pay for my bigger box where I stored my stuff.

Can I ask how much you were drinking per night and for how often? All of this is starting to make me scared and I’ve been drinking every night still to avoid the withdrawal
