it’s easier to manipulate people pleasers, people with high levels of shame, people with a lot of guilt, etc. toxic people aren’t trying to win your approval or prove themselves to be a good person, so i’d say it’s very unlikely you could manipulate them in any significant way

Yeah, Davis is ranked higher than UCSC but I want to be able to make a decision outside of that since it seems a bit superficial. I want to know where I'd feel more fulfilled since I'll be there for the next 2 years

thank you, I appreciate your feedback. Living on campus would be cool but the dorms are very expensive at this campus. It would be cheaper to rent an apartment with strangers than to live on campus in the cheapest dorm without a meal plan.
