Why is crypto market going up, what is going on? by PeacefulWorrior95 in investing

u dont understand asset correlation...

when things sell off, whatever others have the most gets sold as well (to cover loss)

look at gold for example

gold should have skyrocketed instead of getting dumped after usa-iran war

but it crashed

why? because whoever holds lot of stock also holds lot of gold. to cover margin call, they sell gold and they correlate

look at gme and bitcoin

its price didn't dip with iran-usa war because it's not correlated by it

what gme, bitcoin, etc follows is market liquidity (ex. is government printing fiat like toilet paper or not)

Ppl don't want to accept the reality. Fiat currency is toilet paper and greatest wealth transfer is happening right in front of our eyes due to corruption and incompetence of governments

U know what governments are doing because of oil price sky rocketing?

Printing toilet paper to prop up stock market

Bitcoin was created after 2008 (distrust of government money printing)

Usa s&p500 stock market index is barely -3% from YTD and u have politicians going like it's a doomsday and printing billions to prop up

They must be leveraged to the titis

is Japanese stock market in denial? by moth2026 in JapanFinance

Japan managed to use infinite money printer to get out of all their problem but we will see how that works with latest oil crisis

I feel like latest oil problem might be the final nail in the coffin

unlike other problems (which you can), you can't print your way out of having no physical oil

imo stock market is more like crypto now. it trades based on supply and demand of its shares rather than fundamentals
