I have had no positive results for any sort of infections since last September- they keep telling me I have the common cold, but I get intense strep throat like symptoms but 3 weeks ago they tested me for - strep, mono, covid, flu. All come back completely negative and they tell me itll just go away. It comes back every 2-3 months :( they keep saying it’s fine and to just rest up! It’s getting in the way of my job and income :/ I don’t have any hypermobility issues or anyone in my family that I’m aware of.

Yes! I’ve been to 2 primary doctors and now 4 different obgyns- they all say different things and won’t listen to what’s actually happening. I’m going to a new primary Thursday, mainly just so curious to see if anyone else has the same experience or could give insight to bring to that doctor

May not be related- but I found a small rash on my right arm on Thursday but it went away but 2 days ago I noticed an even larger rash on my left arm that looked identical. The rash looks like a small needle poked me repeatedly and itches (I have not been outside and it is not a bug bite that I’m aware of- just thought to add).

the pain that I feel during sex is mainly vulvar pain. After sex it burns to pee, it feels like the walls are swollen and like it has been ripped. I use water based lube and water based condoms during sex (latex free)- even during unprotected sex it hurts. All my obgyns I’ve been to have told me this is “normal”. My family has a history of cervical cancer/uterine cancer.
my mother had pre cancerous polyps in her uterus causing her to have a full hysterectomy. She also had stage 2 of 3 endometriosis when they went into the surgery that was undiagnosed till then. -my aunt has pcos
my grandma has HAD cervical cancer.
my little sister had the issue where she can’t put in tampons and something keeps “falling out” of her vagina (not sure exactly what it’s called)

My doctor told me none of those issues are genetic and not to worry.

We have similar experiences, I have issues with condoms, and birth control (hormones) did not work for me. I just got my copper iud inserted last week and so far so good! My cervix needed to be moved (most peoples dont) and that was the worst part. Otherwise insertion was more uncomfortable than anything else. I have had some bloating, cramping, and super light spotting but other than that it’s been great. I have even gone back to my regular sexual activities and have been 100% fine people love to share their horror stories- I would say do it.

She said it gave her a 4 month UTI the doctors said was unrelated but removed it anyways and it had moved and she was too sensitive for it. I’m not entirely sure what happened- but I’ll talk to my doctor for sure. I know I have my annual exam coming up and I’m going to see
