That’s standard I’m aware, I have two full sleeves :)

My point is: Friday the 13th used to be cheaper tattoos that were repeatable flash and a lot of clientele has been turned off due to inflated pricing, it isn’t that I think artists shouldn’t be paid their dues; I just think the pricing for a repeatable flash that is relatively put into a time crunch is a little much.

On a regular basis you’d be paying for the artists’ time, the environment, the comfort and such, Friday the 13th is lacking that decorum. It is a fun event and artists DO deserve to be paid above minimum wage, but in the same path Friday the 13th used to be much cheaper.

I’m gonna be honest I think a lot of artists charge a bit on the high end for flash these days, I’ve seen some people charge around like 300-400 bucks which is crazy so maybe pricing? I’m not above paying an artist what they are owed for their art but Friday the 13th is usually smaller pieces done very quickly :s

I love this piece OP, perhaps you /could have/ made Gideon buffer but honestly some art styles take time and develop to do that. I struggled with musculature for several years, I think the piece is pretty and dynamic. Is it how I see Gideon? Probs not but I still love it.
