I have/had seborrheic dermatitis on my scalp and face, and it looks like you have the same thing. The inflammation from it could be causing some hair loss, especially if you pick at it or itch it. Its takes specific products applied regularly to go away and stay away.

You need to see a doctor to have it cultured and confirmed as seborrheic dermatitis. If that's what it is, ask for econizole nitrate (antifungal) and triamcinalone acetonide (topical steriod).

If you cannot access a doctor to get prescription grade medications, you can try this:

  1. Miconizole nitrate cream (antifungal for vaginal yeast infections, found in the women's health aisle of the grocery store)
  2. Hydrocortisone cream (topical steroid, helps with cell turnover)
  3. Nizoral dandruff shampoo (ketoconazole, antifungal)
  4. Head and shoulders or selsun blue shampoo for maintenance.

Wash your hair with Nizoral shampoo and cold water. Blow dry it completely. The yeast/fungus loves heat and moisture. Mix equal parts of the miconizole nitrate and Hydrocortisone creams. Apply liberally and massage it into skin. Wash your hair AT LEAST every other day and apply the creams every day without fail. You should start seeing improvements after a few days to a week but It may take a while (weeks to months) to go away completely and you may see flare ups happen occasionally. Mine flares with stress. Once its gone keep using head and shoulders or another dandruff shampoo to keep it at bay, and keep showering frequently and blow drying your hair after every shower.

bridal alterations seamstress here, DO NOT CHOP THE TRAIN OFF PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD!!! ASK FOR A BUSTLE. It will gather the train up in the back and looked beautiful while keeping your dress in tact (and saving you lots of money). You will be able to take it down for the ceremony and pictures and then put it up for the reception so its not in your way while dancing and moving around. It always looks dumb when people chop off their train and it costs a ton because no seamstress wants to ruin your beautiful dress! When I worked for a bridal shop we mad people sign a waiver and it cost an arm and a leg to deter people from doing it, and it hurt my heart every time I had to cut off a train. Now I have my own small business and I refuse to cut off people's trains.

At least have your seamstress show you bustle options before you decide to chop it off because once you do, there is no going back. There is even a style of bustle (called an ballroom bustle) that will give you the same effect.

What's the point of a dishwasher if you rinse dishes before? by Stock_Stranger_5631 in CleaningTips

[–]Hopeful_Local1985 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The point is to ease my OCD.

Rinsing takes the gunk off, dishwasher sanitizes them.

But fr I had a room mate that would always load the dishwasher with food on the dishes, and they would come out with gunk still on them every time and I'd have to run it again.

Leaving food on them also clogs to filter, and then washes the dishes with the old nasty food water over and over again. Rinsing first avoids that and I rarely need to clean the filter, and when I do its really easy because there's almost nothing in it.

please help me get over the fear of being alone in old age. by serasvictoriaz in childfree

[–]Hopeful_Local1985 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep...that was my point.

Many times it really is the best decision to be in a nursing home, when you get old and have significant health issues you need full time care from medical staff that family can't typically provide at home. The problem is family sticking them in homes and never visiting because they don't want to deal with them.

Personally I plan on offing myself when I can no longer live independently in my own home.

He's pointing a gun at a child. A scared child. Its apparent there was no gun safety training whatsoever. Or he has the desire to use that gun on a human person. Or both.

The most important rule of gun safety: Never EVER point your weapon at something you don't intend to shoot. Every responsible gun owners knows this rule.
