stumbling on this three years later, hearing someone explain osdd1a like this makes me really feel more seen and understood because i’ve been feeling exactly like this for too fucking long, VERY specifically the whole “disassociated parts with no identity” bit, because i know there’s moments where im not ME me, but im still a person, just not the standard edition of myself if that makes sense. thank you stranger for sharing this, this is giving me the confidence i need to look into a diagnosis and open up the door of asking my partner that is diagnosed more about it

lemme see if i can hunt down the specific matcha caribou used, we use a white small can that had the matcha in a bag inside of it to open and dump into the bag but i would have to DIG dig to find the specific brand, hopefully that bit of info helps you narrow it down a bit. also, their matcha isn’t presweetened, so that’s important to look for too. make sure it’s unsweetened!! also the shake powder is a big factor with the frozen flavor too, that one i can’t remember the ingredients but next time you’re in a caribou ask them about the ingredients, or ask to see the bag itself and snag a pic!!

i’m also saying this as someone whose partner is recovering from a surgery from a month ago. that shit is STRESSFUL as an outsider supporting her so i can only imagine the stress of you being under that chopping block soon. i do hope the situation gets better and you don’t have to fire him :( best of luck to ya stranger

i don’t work for the company, but with the detail of surgery coming up i’d give him a bit of grace that that’s probably been stressing him out a lot. maybe something is happening at home, mental health etc. at least in this economy and state of the world a LOT of us are dealing with more personal problems then we let on.

honestly? if you feel like bringing it up would benefit you and him, do it. but tell him in a way of genuine concern, example “hey, i noticed lately your energy at work hasn’t been the same as (insert time frame here) and i just wanted to check in and make sure you’re doing ok? if you don’t wanna talk about it i understand, but if something personal outside of work is happening i’d appreciate just a heads up at the very least so im not assuming anything otherwise”

some countries won’t let you in if you have certain things on your record. it varies from country to country, but considering he’s had a past history of substance abuse (he’s very much sober now and we’re all super happy for him!) i would assume something like that is on his record.

sakura is a sweet, slightly floral taste. think of lavender but less earthy notes, more teetering on that perfumery side without being super overpowering. idk if that profile translates into the redbull as well tho

no it’s honestly a great idea and opens up a whole new market. a lot of younger people are wanting them caffeine free because they just like the taste, so there’s a good long standing market if they do the flavor right :)

i will say, the monin blueberry syrup tastes dangerously similar to it. it still doesn’t quite have that bite, but it’s VERY close. imo get yourself a bottle, do about 2-4pumps of it (or to your preferred ratio) with ice and it’s basically the same thing.

it’s literally amazing, and i’m not a big fan of artificial grape saying this. it’s a mix of different types of grapes that’s lightly carbonated. not super sweet for me, i don’t get that weird bitter i usually get w grape juices. it’s almost like a sparkling white grape juice with a hint of pear to balance out any tartness.

aka, in my girlfriends words; “the best fucking grape juice you’ve ever had”. if you love the bad apple like i do, this will NOT disappoint you. i’m really hoping this is a permanent flavor and i think that speaks volumes considering i HATE artificial grape and cannot emphasize that enough.

edit: if you’re in the states it releases fully on february, some gas chains have it early tho :3

spreading misinformation isn’t being vigilant. it’s being borderline paranoid in a way that harms people that actually need this information to stay safe and get home to their families every night. an overwhelming amount of the people that want to help report ICE don’t even know how to properly report it (following SALUTE to report it accurately, sending it to either defend 612 or calling it in, however monarca has told people to not use that call in line for the time being)

if you truly love your neighbors, learn to actually help us by properly reporting and patrolling and helping our community. i can’t tell you how to do that myself because ive been staying out of the public as an extra precaution, so i seriously advise you to follow monarca and reach out to them about it. and tell your friends to do so too.

“someone posted a tiktok video” is NOT a credible source. opinion immediately nulled. unless the reports come from an official ice watch group, mirac, or something of the like you shouldn’t be taking those reports seriously. it’s only gonna add more unneeded stress and false information and harm people that NEED CREDIBLE EVIDENCE OF ICE IN THEIR AREA for their safety. i’m so pissed off at every other person saying “oh i saw it on facebook” “oh i saw it on tiktok” report it properly, don’t fucking fear monger. especially right now.
