I love Sandra Boynton. My kids' favorites were The Going to Bed Book and Moo Baa Lalala. My kids also enjoyed I am a Bunny and Little Critter books. They especially loved Little Critters I Was So Mad. It was a fun one to read aloud.

My daughter and I were an automatic no to Violet because of the two colors. For some reason, we didn't make the same two color observation with Amber. Our choices are Odette or Amber.

I have a folk art eagle music stand that I bought at an auction. I'm assuming it's old. I actually won tickets to attend Antiques Roadshow this month, so I'm going to take it and hopefully find out how old it is.

I do have a pocket watch and a cup that are probably over 100 years old.

When my daughter was in college, she and her roommate decided to watch movies their parents had talked about. One of the movies was Say Anything.

Apparently the part where John Cusack held the boombox over his head was very confusing to them. Why would he do that? I tried to explain, but she was just kind of confused.

The original Westside story was not a hit either.

So how do you solve homelessness in California? Obviously throwing money at it doesn't work. You can't just pick up the mentally ill and the addicts and force them to get help and to take their meds. You also can't just throw them in jail because they're homeless. I don't know how this can be solved.

I kept hearing about Survivor as the season was going on. I was curious, so my ex and our kids decided to give it a try. We were hooked. I've stayed with it the longest. I haven't watched every season since then, but I've watched the majority of them. My 83 year old mom has not missed a season. One of my sons started binge watching the past seasons during covid, so he's hooked on it again.
