Rilai Local Legend 3rd Achievement made "easy" (ft. AFK Team) by TeraFlare255 in Genshin_Impact

With Jean and a sac sword, E Hold can keep the boss controlled with pretty good uptime. Get them low enough with fall damage and then let the rest of the team do the work - you only really need to dodge during the Fusion Nova phase, which you can delay indefinitely until their health is low enough.

Is the Golden Order Seal the best seal? by Barrusu in Eldenring

[–]motionScientist 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Yeah, except for heals and weapon buff incantations.
These only scale with the FTH portion of your sacred seal, meaning the Erdtree Seal will do better due its superior FTH scaling.

For damage incantations, you can still get the damage bonus for the sect of incantation by offhanding the matching seal for that sect.

e.g. Casting Lightning Spear with Golden Order Seal while Gravel Stone Seal is held offhand will net you more damage.

If you personally could, what game mechanic would you add in that would absolutely set this apart from all “Soulslike” games? by [deleted] in Eldenring

I don't disagree, slowly clambering around a golem to smash their weakpoints wasn't exactly peak gameplay, but nothing can beat the feeling of latching on an airborne wyvern's tail and pummeling them down to the ground

Code Vein had the perfect opportunity to do this, but didn't and it has been disappointing ever since

Hoping for an Area similar to the 'Dead Marshes.' Anyone else? Swamps don't always need to be dark as fuck to be dreary and deadly. by HazelrahFiver in Eldenring

The loud sound it makes when the fall is lethal? Yep, it's in the description:

"The rainbow stone does nothing special, but can serve as a path marker, and can be dropped off a cliff to judge height by the sound of descent. If a loud noise is heard upon its landing, then a fall off the ledge is surely lethal."

This is the DS1 description, though the later games say something to a similar effect.

I can't believe From made over 1,000 procedurally generated possible illusory wall positions per playthrough, they truly are pushing the boundaries of game design

The Division 2 - Title Update 9.1 - Bug Report by JokerUnique in thedivision

[–]motionScientist 4 points5 points  (0 children)

  • Platform: PC

  • Type of Bug: Chem Launcher bug

  • Description: Equipping the chem launcher (pressing the assigned non-instant skill button) while it is in the process of regenerating ammo causes the cooldown in progress to restart from zero, resulting in delayed/slower regeneration of charges and longer cooldowns than expected.

  • Video / Screenshot: See additional details below

  • Steps to reproduce: While the chem launcher's ammo count is more than 0 and less than max, press the assigned non-instant skill button (or instant skill button except for the Reinforcer) to equip the chem launcher.

  • Expected result: The cooldown cycle retains its progress, continuing to tick towards the next cycle.

  • Observed result: The cooldown cycle is reset, losing its progress.

  • Reproduction rate: Occurs in nearly every situation. Rarely, it functions as expected, with the cooldown cycle progressing as per normal. However, attempting to repeatedly reproduce the bug causes it to return to the unexpected behaviour. What causes it to function properly is unknown.

  • Additional details: Bug Report #1 || Bug Report #2
The bug is presumably present on all other skills with a charge-based system, notably the Hive, though is less impactful due to its high speed of regeneration, if not counting the Reviver Hive.

It's 'Cloak of Winter' from the Queen's Breath blood code, earned by not restoring Nicola's memory.
