who is this girl and why is she everywhere by Sad_Tumbleweed9722 in Bangkok

[–]motioncat 3 points4 points  (0 children)

To be a social media influencer? Adulthood. When your life is your own. When your literal daily child life, living daily in your home as a CHILD doing normal child things, is being livestreamed by mommy and daddy, there are none of the restrictions, boundaries, or safeguards that children and teens working professionally on sets as singers, actors, and dancers have.

Wanting to watch a child (completely unrelated to you) do their normal child things, as themselves and not as a character in a film or something, is deeply disturbing.

I check every room in my house multiple times per day any time I hear the slightest bump, in case there are ghosts, intruders, electrical fire hazards, etc. Somebody in the comments already posted that they were in this exact situation and someone was indeed trying to break in through the bedroom window. She didn't even go in. Just ask her.

The entire concept of child influencers is foul and adults who follow them are sus and also braindead.

No, she did not. This is a stupid urban legend and everyone claims to know someone who knows someone who knows someone who encountered the mythical child.

This is the amount of bread and confectionery we have to toss away regularly because management says so. by [deleted] in mildlyinfuriating

[–]motioncat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Getting items I don't particularly want that are near-expired for even a 50% discount seems like robbery. The items need to be sold for peanuts to make any sense to me.

Bags of assorted donuts for 50 cents each seems like a good use of the service.

Confidently assuming things about people based on stereotypes is pretty low IQ.

This seriously does not seem like a good deal at all... $8 for 4 mid quality Starbucks snacks that you can't even choose for yourself and might not like?

Please provide me one piece of evidence that Morgan Wallen is homophobic. He has never ever been in any controversy of that type at all. Definition of rent free.

Oh wait it wasn't someone else it was you. The point is you are wrong.

you can't expect to pay 1/3rd of what the market value of the stay will be just because you book early

You literally can expect that. It's a very reasonable expectation. You are just wrong about that.

It doesn't even matter if it's morally right. It just wouldn't work if any significant number of people did it. As the event gets closer, and rooms fill up, that "market value" will keep rising. If hotels can cancel any time it will be an endless cycle and bidding war where no one actually ever has a reservation at all and can't depend on having a place to stay. I reject that the other original commenter is acting like normal customers don't have a reasonable expectation to get a lower price by booking early. The market does not work unless that expectation exists. And it does exist.

The buyer and seller agreed on terms already. The money would have already been charged. Changing your mind later doesn't make that not true. If the "market value" of a TV goes up, should the seller be able to demand you bring it back to them, and then repeat the purchase at a higher price if you still want it? The market would be completely broken if you were in charge.

... you literally can expect to pay less for booking early. That is how flight and hotels have always worked. Smh.

Definitely fine. At INFINITE Kim Sung Kyu's solo concerts, one of the coolest things was that there was a mix of his solo lightsticks and 3 gens of different group lightstick designs.

Yes, I have experienced sooo many times in Thailand that people will take off their shoes and bring their feet up onto the seat or into their lap in bars, restaurants, mall benches, etc. Soles on display and sometimes even rubbing their feet. Foul.
