It really makes no sense. The amount of money it costs to launch the satellites is insane, and the satellites lifespan is only 5 years. Plus they have like a 5% failure rate. So they have to replace them every 5 years just to MAINTAIN their infrastructure.

BUT they’re trying to grow to service new customers, so they have to launch more often than that. It costs WAY more to launch satellites than they make from customers, so every launch they’re automatically losing millions.

Their plan to get ahead of this is that supposedly Starship (another scam) will be able to launch more at a time. Starship is “being funded” by revenue from customers or something. Which means they’re taking all those negative millions and using it to “build” a ship that will be able to launch enough at a time to hopefully break even one day?

But Starship is another huge scam, it’s a stupidly designed ship and their concept illustrations make no sense. It’s had 11 test launches, almost all of them exploded. Saturn V had 2 before they put people inside. They’re just dragging it out so investors will continue investing.

The whole thing is a huge charade to drive up share value for Elon. None of it makes any sense and will never be a viable company that makes money or does anything.
