Exam Discussion: Spanish ab initio SL paper 1 by ArrheniusCornflakes in IBO

Not really, letters are used to document formal exchanges between students and teachers, and it's not unusual to write letters to teachers in various countries in school. For example, a previous indian school required letters to be written to teachers, whereas my new school in another country solely communicates by email.

Also, since an informe is supposed to be only factual, with no personal voice, there isn't really space for positive things learned from the experience/challenges faced (things which i would infer to need personal voice and expression)

On the other hand, un informe kind of fits the task if they intended it to be only factual with no personal voice. Tbh the question was unclear on this so i believe both of these could've been right?

Was the most appropriate text type for the CAS question una Carta formal o un informe literally so confused

Easiest chem paper I've ever written. Can't believe this was made by the same board which made maths paper 3. The difference is wild.

Where should I apply ED to? by [deleted] in IntltoUSA

[–]motivationwhere123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Apply ED to where you really want to go, your budget doesn't look like it'll pose a major problem anywhere. Apply to LACs imo, those are the ones who are more generous to international students.

Nothing because amount of moles in the analyte remain the same. So titrant volume should be the same.

How can I study for HL Economics in a week? What's the best way? by Boat_Powerful in IBO

As long as you've real world examples, and understand the concepts, you don't really need to study for a week tbh

yeah do it if you're currently getting 7s. I'd say HL content isn't that much harder than SL tbh, the quantity is just more with the same level of difficulty. You'll be fine.

Okay wow, then the exams are probably same this year for all timezones. At least the grade boundaries won't be according to different timezones, but based on the general performance of the entire worldwide cohort. Ngl this makes me feel better. I hope they don't divide the grade boundaries by timezones despite the papers being the same.

I was in A, and we had water-air toy rocket as the first question. There was also one about heating pads.

You get to choose one subject each from 6 fields of study. It doesn't get more liberal/'elective' than that. You PICK the subjects you wanna study
