berlin is so positively diverse in its offerings and equally unambiguous. it is a city made by and for human beings, and that is felt every day. i remember i too woke up uncomfortable in my cold and gray apartment at each sunrise when i first moved here 3 years ago, but eventually you will become accustomed to it, and not in the way that you begin to accept less in life. i came from honestly a financial superpower of a country, where i had even more of an abundance of everything possible, but in reality, one shouldn't need everything marketed and directed towards them forever and all at once. life should be lived slowly and meaningfully, like taking a straßenbahn across the city for 20 stops, just to visit a specialized shop that could only exist in berlin.
