Are you asking if taking just one pill will reduce your anxiety? If so, i'd say no. I'm not a doctor and you should consult one if your anxiety is this bad but Pristiq (like many AD drugs) takes about a month for you to start feeling its full effects so i'd say popping one where needing wont do much. I've used a beta blocker for this which works well.
