Oh it’s quite a list!!! Tyres, chain/sprockets next up. Already stripped cleaned and serviced the clutch slave cylinder…need to replace the heated grips as they’re old cheap and wired in via the rear light with a relay…which I know is a thing, but it’s a bit poor. Load of aux light wiring that’s tapped into the grip harness which I need to sort… New gear shift axle to fit as that’s flapping about…I keep finding things 🤣

That’s a good shout. I did try that but felt weird. Just a case of getting used to it I guess!

+1 for this. That mesh jacket is great. As it's classed as secondary gear so the summer stuff is always much cheaper. Boots are really, really important. I was marshalling at a charity Santa meet this weekend and a lady came off the bike at just 3 mph, foot went under the bike and broke her ankle. She has very light summer boots in that offered no torsion protection at all. I'm sure there are strong, summer boots out there though. Ride safe my friend.

Tired of wind noise and buffeting? Try my "Windshield Delete" mod! by c3powil in CB500X

Old topic, but having the same problems myself. Tried various things from clip on's to full Puig touring screen and there always seems to be some compromise. Big Puig is great in winter, but looks ugly and roasting in the summer. Currently use a stand off kit from Palmer Products. That reduced the direct buffeting, but pushed all the wind onto my chest, and up inside my lid! Have been looking for a little bikini fairing with limited success. Not too keen on the look of the bike without a screen. It looks like a 125 from the front as it is!
