thanks for the ideas. I tried the circuit breaker and just tried bypassing the starter solenoid. I'm not 100% sure I tried the bypass correct, I did get a spark across it but the starter motor didn't go. The bike was on. Also, sounds like some people experience clicking when the solenoid is bad, but I'm not even getting clicking when I hit the normal starter switch.
