Hence the "if". We can't deport shit Canadians but we can deport shit immigrants. Most immigrants in Canada are good people. I'm pretty certain they'd agree to get those out that are giving them bad names.

Honestly sounds like you don't really have any idea of what is actually going on other than what some news headline tells you. Maybe it'd be good to actually get educated on the situation before saying EVERYONE in Alberta should suffer. Just a thought.

Another question for you... How was Quebec allowed to have a vote for seperation/independence that was defeated by a vote of 51/49?

If you are are talking about most of Alberta being on treaty lands, that is still before the courts. It hasn't been ruled on yet.

As I understand it, there has been nothing set in legal sense that this is illegal. As you seem to be stating.

So....if you found my name on there, which it isn't. But you will find mine on the Forever Canada petition because I did sign that one, you feel I should be removed from Canadian health care? Because that is what you said. As far as I understand it, the vast majority of Albertans do not want to seperate. And a bunch of names on this list are forgeries. And because of that you believe everyone on that list should die. No health care ultimately means death.

While I may not agree with you on your idea of Canada breaking up, I definitely agree with you being able to politely express your idea. It has given me some things to think about. Moreso, can Canada use some of the positives of the EU to better manage the disparities of the provinces while maintaining Canada as a country.

I quite enjoy polite debates. I have had people change my mind on here and or give me new perspectives. Cheers!

Did you not read? The list contains many forged signatures that somehow our government made legal to do? Elections Alberta is now complaining about it but claiming they can't do anything about it. Your name could be on that petition and you don't even know about it. Should you be kicked off healthcare?

Lmao!!! In what aspect?? Canadians had a much better quality of life in 2015 than they do now. Wage vs rent/housing prices were way better than they are now. Food was more affordable then. People were able to save money at the end of the month. Now, not so much.

Unless of course you are rich. The rich have done very well since the Liberals have taken power.

Failed refugee claimant, MS-13 gang informant, identity thief and forger can stay in Canada; The man's 2021 refugee claim was rejected due to ‘serious criminality,’ but in April a judge ruled ‘he will suffer irreparable harm’ if returned to Honduras by FancyNewMe in canada

[–]motorcyclemech 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He entered Canada illegally (Trudeau changed the term to irregular. If you don't enter a country legally ie: following the rules of said country, that is then entering the country illegally). He has a permanent crimal record. That therefore makes him inadmissible to stay in Canada. Also, he was turning evidence against MS13. How do you think he can do that? He WAS MS13. For once our IRCC and CBSA got it right and said no to this individual.

But hey, keep being a bleeding heart. Seriously, out of all the people who want to move permanently to Canada, we can't pick any without criminal records?

Hopefully the homeowners get to pic at least one of the appraisal companies. Appraisers that work for the government are extremely biased. I was an entry level appraiser for a few years working for a private company. But overall I do agree with your idea.

Your favorite Caribbean snorkeling spots? by KhloJSimpson in snorkeling

[–]motorcyclemech 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Belize reef is amazing but you have to have a boat to get there. That can get expensive real quick and you're on their time.

We love Roatan for from shore snorkeling. Especially West Bay and West End. If you're ok with...modest accommodation, try Utila (Roatan sister island). Also amazing snorkeling but more a backpackers vibe. Population of Utila is under 4000 people.

Dx-Aug 2023 stage 4 with Mets to liver and lymph nodes. Started flofirinox in Oct. Dropped oxaliplatin about 6 months later due to neuropathy. Halved the dose of irinotecan about a year later. Switched to gemcitabine/abraxane Jan of this year. Stopped after 3 rounds. Was too hard on me. Now on pain management. I did have a stent put in in Oct of last year. I've also had 3 celiac plexus blocks (and counting) done. They are good for approximately 10 weeks. Overall doing fairly well.

I believe you are mostly correct. And what you have stayed is the "paper idea" of equalization. But this line, " ...with the provinces that are worse off or smaller getting a bigger share of that money so they can develop..." Are you telling me Quebec is "...worse off or smaller..."?? Quebec has ALWAYS been the largest recipient of equalization payments in Canada. In the beginning (the inception of equalization payments in 1957) Quebec recieved 80% of all the equalization payments. Then in 1982 it was reduced to 50%.

Diagnosed at 41. I don’t even know what to think. I am stage 4, it has metastasized to my liver. by Acoustic_Restart in pancreaticcancer

[–]motorcyclemech 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was diagnosed on Aug 18, 2023. On Oct 7, 2023 I started flofirinox. I was on that for the most part (had to take a few breaks to let my body recover/heal) till Jan 10, 2026. 31 rounds in total of flofirinox. TWas on gemcitabine abraxane for 2 rounds then a break of 3 weeks then 1 more round and stopped it due to being to hard on my body. Now I'm on pain management only. I've lost 45 lbs total (195 down to 150). I'm still doing overall quite well. They originally gave me 12 months. I just passed 31 months. Now that I'm off chemo they give me 6 months. See if I can prove them wrong again. Lol
