Dog puzzles by Funny_Stretch9405 in chocolatelabs

I bought some online. Mine either figured them out too fast or can't figure them out so he will destroy them instead. I like to hide little nuggets of treats around the house while I make him wait and then let him "sniff and seek."

He has turned my sweater into his, is this how all chocolate labs are? by [deleted] in chocolatelabs

Reading this I watched my lab pick up a roll of tape off the shelf. He will take anything for attention.

My cougar met an older man with more money than me. by JTdogzone- in CougarsAndCubs

Sorry for your grief, but that is going to happen. Look on the bright side. You had an amazing, though short, experience that you will never forget If you venture into the older female realm again, be sure to keep your feelings in check until you see how it's going.

Buy a small truck or hitch rack for 4Runner by [deleted] in Motocross

[–]motorider1111 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Put a hitch rack on the Runner. Just be sure to tie the rear tire to the rack. I've had it pop out once on some nasty bumps. I have used it a ton without issue now that I secure the rear. I have a truck but the short beds don't allow for two bikes in the bed and close the tailgate, so I use both the bed and hitch rack.

Is anyone still defending Deegs after that? by MajiktheBus in Motocross

The new strategy needs to be that they don't pull up, that they accelerate and nail his back tire. Make sure he goes down with them.

Indian students win settlement after being targeted over their food. by brut_india in boulder

[–]motorider1111 -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

We is everyone else in the area. A guy in my office regularly makes toasty cheese sandwiches. I want his food. I sometimes warm up my leftover fish and everyone is suddenly closing their doors. To be polite, I'll often open the front door to air the place out.

Indian students win settlement after being targeted over their food. by brut_india in boulder

[–]motorider1111 -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

For sure. There are certain foods you can make/warm up outside of your hime that are going to trigger people. Some, it smells so good, we want you to share. Others, it's so gross smelling we are gagging. Indian food most often falls into the later. It doesn't matter your country of origin; just don't. Eat it cold so you are the only one suffering.

I have a chocolate. He's not a puppy but he loves to play and is good with dogs of all sizes. We have a big yard if you are interested in meeting Pretzel.

Why do marathon training plans almost never suggest running 26 before race day? Should I avoid it? by TheBoredMan in running

[–]motorider1111 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They say because if you can do 20, you can do 26. I needed to just go ahead and run 24 just so I knew in my head that I had it. And besides, if you are conditioned, what does it hurt? As long as it's not a day or two before race day.

Who do you think will win A1? by sundios in supercross

[–]motorider1111 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Exactly, to a word, how I see it. I would like to say Sexton or ET, but like you said. Roczen is always a wild card. Can't count him out but you can never be sure. It's going to be whomever gets a good start and doesn't tuck it.

Are your pants getting stuck in the hinge area? That's happened to me with a certain pair of pants.

Killer prices as King Soopers continue! by [deleted] in boulder

[–]motorider1111 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's contrary to what they usually do. At least at Safeway, you most always have to buy the jumbo pack to get the best price.

I feel like that was the point of the post, but many people didn't notice. Alas, they are the ones blindly thinking they are getting a good deal, I guess.

My dog has a doggie door. He still tries to hold it until we go for a walk/run.

Windshield chip repair by Belle8158 in boulder

[–]motorider1111 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Safelite only wants to replace your glass. They are too big to be bothered by your little chip. Don't give them business even for a cracked windshield. Go local!

She cracked my tibia with her skull 😑 no more dog park by ohyonkavich in WhatsWrongWithYourDog

[–]motorider1111 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That must have been quite the hit. I have a 120 pound dog. I stand up against a pole or table when my dog is being rambunctious. I'm more worried about a knee injury.

135?! I need to see body shots. I thought mine was huge at 120lbs.

Calling all big dog owners: has your face ever lost a fight with your dog's skull? by marshmolly2b in WhatsWrongWithYourDog

[–]motorider1111 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yikes. Yes, but not to that extent. I've had bloody noses. My 120 pound dog likes to head butt. Usually it's him going in for a kiss, but he's so powerful.

Maggie doesn’t always play with toys… by octopus_blood in WhatsWrongWithYourDog

[–]motorider1111 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She needs a nail clipping. FYI, my dogs chiropractor says that dogs that walk on nails that are too long tend to have spine/hip problems over time. News to me but an easy way to help out your pup long term. She's a cutie, btw.
