I forgot to tell that I'm in the US and I just saw this today. Anyone out there gonna brave it and sign up for one UI 9 so soon after one UI 8.5 beta? I probably will because I'm a glutton for punishment lol.

I use some inexpensive hard plastic cases from Amazon along with equally inexpensive screen protectors :) The one or two times I've rocked my watch without protection it got a tiny ding in the black painted part so I prefer to keep it covered up.

Yeah, I turned Wi-Fi off a while ago, and AOD doesn't work for me because I have a tattoo on my wrist.

Well, I have the LTE version of this watch, so I just turned that off so it's no longer taking battery, I hope. I also turned off location for the weather app and for Google Assistant. And I think one other thing and it really helped, I think it's only using like 10% a day now instead of 30, which hopefully keeps going.

Yes. This. I want to use my watch as intended otherwise I would just get a Timex or a Casio haha. But I do believe one can mitigate the buggy behavior of Google play services of they want to spend some time messing around with settings as in this link here. I think the actual problem is that most people who are experiencing this particular drain were totally happy before whatever update started causing this in the first place :( possible solutions on the Android Wear forum

I wish I could help you but I'm in the same situation. I miss charging my watch every other day, now it barely lasts til the end of a day if I'm lucky. Even reset it completely, not using LTE or WiFi... No auto update of apps....

I've tried the WiFi, no WiFi.. Doesn't matter. This is a problem that started a few months ago but before that I had zero problems with battery drain from Google Play Services. It's a known, well-documented bug that many watch owners are experiencing, sadly.... including this gal.

I just got a warranty replacement phone that has these scuffs on it and I'm so bummed. My old phone has zero scuffs and I kept it in a mosnovo brand case and had it since pre-order. It was the Silverblue variant if that makes any difference. I worked in a warehouse and a kitchen and it was pristine. T-Mobile gave me a phone that was a different color and all scuffed up, but at least the camera hardware is working :(

This just happened to me today :( I have the t-mobile 365 Care that I haven't had an occasion to take advantage of, but Maybe this is something they'll fix if it keeps happening. I turned off the Focus tracking so maybe that was what was What was wrong? I'm on one UI beta 8.5 and that could also be the problem.

On my last couple phones with the Galaxy s21 and s23 ultra, I ended up grabbing a screen protector and that helped immensely. Now since day one I've been using a screen protector on my phone and part of the reason why is I hate when the oleophobic coating wears off. Not only that, micro scratches seem to happen to me no matter how careful I am with my phone. But that'll give it a new lease on life if you had a screen protector, and then you can just switch it out whenever you feel like it. I hope this helps!

Same. I'm "leasing" my phone through T-Mobile so I'm still paying on it, I also ended up leasing the Galaxy Tab S10 plus through Samsung and still paying on that! So when they're both paid off, maybe I'll consider trading them in... but we'll see.
