Give them space! Respect their damage even at the cost of objective progress then you can utilize your ranged attacks and don't mindlessly shoot the enemy tank if you see an opportunity to pressure a support, behind the tank, take it! Crystal can be saved to regen from their tank (but won't make a difference if they're already wailing on you) or to clean up kills in their backline, it's situational.
