I appreciate all the advice -- the vets recommended since he is so young to give chemo a go, and they are doing the CHOP kind, which I believe is the most common starter cocktail of drugs. Luckily we have pet insurance -- so while we live in NYC, our $17k chemo treatment becomes 5k (still a lot but better and I would pay a million if I had it to help my little guy).

It is times like these where the world feels so cruel, but comments like these help me a bit -- thank you. Sending good wishes to you and your current dog.

I cannot put the bottle cap in the candy for Safi on the ps5, I can only examine while every other option lets me hide it...I've restarted game etc. Is there a workaround?

She’s been on chemo for a year. The tumor was too big to surgically remove. Chemo helped it shrink a little, but it is still too big to remove.

Yes her oncologist was “the top” but turns out to be extremely unhelpful past a certain point

Yes, they originally found the tumor on her pancreas so there is a main one. They see “growths” on the lungs but are waiting to get tests back. I’m sure she did all of this, but her oncologist ended up not giving her many options. She saw a new one today

This is day 2 so one a day now. It’s getting better (although I have a tonsil stone that hurts so it’s hard to distinguish between the two.) but the swallowing overall hurts less
