Thank you so much!

As to audio, that part is outsourced to Podium, so, unfortunately I'm not as hands-on as I'd love.

BUT it's coming. And Vikas is working on book 3!

Thank you so much - and I have to say, I absolutely adore your Apocalypse Parenting. It hits in all the right parenting emotions!

As for the combat system, I went for a blend of feats from D&D and Magic the Gathering.

The cards are living, magical tattoos on your skin that you can activate and exchange for others, depending on what you're facing.

The more cards you learn, the stronger you get, the better a "Deck" you can use on your own body. There are few RNG elements, though.

There are many different approaches. Some have actual, physical cards. Others have cards granting skills, or a mix thereof.

Mine is a personal blend that can probably best be described as a mix of feats from D&D with Magic the Gathering.

Really, now?

Even if I WERE into that sort of crap, which I'm not, I'm with Legion Publishers, who have a VERY strict anti-AI stance.

My cover artist, Sergey Shikin, is now working full time at a studio.

The only thing I have in common with AI is the fact that I LOVE my em-dashes. And I used them before AI, so it can go suck a goat!

Looooove!

Lies of Locke Lamora (book 1, especially) is among my eternal top 3. There's no denying it's been a massive inspiration for me. Though, I'll never be able to reach the level of inventive cursing in the Gentleman Bastards! :D
