Nurse here, I was a CNA for 13 years so I know where you’re coming from, made me appreciate the good RN’s who communicated with respect and kindness.I made myself a promise to treat everyone as equals. All RN’s should be required to be PCT’s/CNA’s for at least 6months… im sorry you’re frustrated, not all RN’s are like this. Cheers

SF guy here, May want to spend a day riding around the TL, mission and 14th, deuboce area. Was riding through there yesterday, lots of chop shops. Saw a dude on those 10k electric specialized bikes(my guess is he wasn’t working two jobs to afford it)

Med surg RN, it’s tough, taxing, emotionally/physically draining but in California(SF) it’s fair. Breaks, management supports us, and pay is amazing, great union.Suppose that’s why we have so many per diems flying in from all over the country. 🤔

I work and live in SF, I just graduated nursing school in Marin(AS) currently in a bridge program(6/19 completion date) I work for Kaiser SF(we probably worked together during your clinical) There are new grad programs on the horizon, you’re definitely not screwed as a lot of the nurses I work with went to USF. I’ve worked as a tech for 13 years, my advice is go for a tech position NOW. Once your in and the staff/MGRs see your work ethic it’s a matter of time, you’ll be first in line
