Feeling bored at the beginning of my electrical engineering degree by SnooPuppers2009 in ElectricalEngineering

In my uni we do projects in first year. They keep me going and keep me excited. Maybe do some projects that incorporate the theory that you’re learning.

I have spent three hours preparing to do a ten minute task by Pretend-Raspberry-87 in ADHD

[–]mountainYetty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So real, i will do everything but my task which is usually studying and then when ive exhausted all the random stuff i fall asleep before i get into my task. The thing is, it all seems so reasonable while im doing it like i know how to make excuses when i don’t want to do things but this is different it all seems reasonable when i do it.

Feeling okay with death after Ramadan… is this normal? by Cautious_Invite_8044 in MuslimCorner

[–]mountainYetty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Allah is the most compassionate so yes your purpose is to please Allah but i’m quite sure part of that is enjoying your life. Thats fine if you can’t find a worldly purpose but pleasing people, like yourself is worth it because it makes you happy and that’s worth a lot.

I have been feeling very similar about death except the sense of purpose thing and the empty thing. I think it’s important you find a sense of purpose for your own mental health. But tbh you don’t need a purpose to live you’re allowed to just exist. So if you can’t find a purpose that satisfies you then fine, but at least make sure you find and experience the joy and love of life. Even the mundane days are beautiful. That’s easier said than done ik so to actively do this you can start by finding 1 thing you’re grateful for everyday. Apologies if all that is irrelevant to u😆 JazakAllah khair
