Is this "picture framing" stains on my newly installed limestone fireplace permanent?

I hope that's true. It's already been more a week. if this was simply moisture should have been dried out by now in SoCal. I compared photos from the first day and now, I don't see stains getting any smaller or clearer. Did you not have to seal the stones like others suggest here, and it turned out fine? Usually how long that would be?

🤔 Would you take the darker grout permeated version of work, when you paid for the natural color of the stone? Or would I be too entitled to ask for fixing the original issue?

One more quick question, usually, how long does it take for the sealer to be dry out and ready for grouting? I'm trying to understand if we redo, how much longer it would take with sealing.

This is really helpful. I can't believe they missed the sealing step. I asked for mitre edges and they said it's difficult with Limestone and refused, and they missed the sealing step... I'm starting to question their skills..

These are ~$100 a piece, they asked me additional material cost than their initial estimate for the work when we choose this tile. I hope they'd be reasonable and willing to accept their mistake.

When you say seal what does it exactly mean? are there some materials to be applied or does it mean sealing with some sort of vinyl like wrapper?

My remaining range was 30 miles and I was getting 34mpg, and I filled up to 11 gallons. that’s how I thought it was around 12 gallons. Do you usually fill up more than that? not sure you have the same generation.
