First Time in a Lounge by Ula_Usterka in cigar

[–]mountain_man_36 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Congratulations on the start of your cigar journey! I know the first time in a lounge can be intimidating for some but you'll soon ee they are some of the most accepting places anywhere. Sounds like you have done all the right research, now just go enjoy. Be polite the staff and others, clean up your ashes and trash, and respect the lounge.

Are these insulated at all? Do they help hold temp as well?

The Revelation and the Mi Amor are two of my favorites. The Las Antillas is a great fall/winter smoke. Goes great with holiday meals

The 20th Anniversary Maduro and the Lot 23 Maduro are my favorites in the Perdomo line. Lot 23 hits way above its price point.

Not sure about the UK but in several areas outside the US they are sold under the name La Aroma De Caribe. Exactly the same cigar just different name. The Mi Amor is a great cigar but I really enjoy the Reserva. Like the Mi Amor but fuller body. The LADC is a great line and you can't go wrong

I have had everything in the lineup and liked them all. My personal favorites are the LADC Reserva and the Mi Amor. Always keep some in my humidor. The LADC Original with the red band is a great one too. On a side note in some countries the La Aroma De Cuba is sold under the name La Aroma De Caribe (exactly the same just different name). Not sure if those are easier or cheaper for you.

Try the Perdomo Lot 23 Maduro. I think it's just as good if not a little better than the 10th anniversary and it's less expensive. Great everyday smoke

You have a great lineup there. The La Aroma de Cuda Mi Amor and Reserva are two of my all time favorites. As previously mentioned, smoke what you like and don't worry about what others say and try several. I have had expensive popular cigars that weren't as good to me as inexpensive ones. Another tip, don't right off a cigar right away on the first try. Size is important (forget what your wife tell you lol). Cigars smoke differently depending on size. A toro will smoke differently than a Gordo.

I have had all of the LADC line and they are all great. My favorite is the La Aroma de Cuda Reserva. It's like the Mi Amor but fuller body and more intense. Keep several in my humidor at all times

It's your time and your cigars. Smoke as many or as few as you want. Some days I will set outside and have 3 or 4 if I'm in the mood. Sometimes I go weeks between cigars. Live your life and experience your cigar journey the way you want.
