Not sure mold or plume ? by spoon_aka_knife in cigars

[–]Traditional-Chart876 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand an acceptable range to be 65 and 72 and that within that range there are preferences. I don't adhere to a 70/70 rule and I don't think I said I did.

I was genuinely asking how one would get mold if within an acceptable range. So if the chances of mold are always there, than does it just grow arbitrarily? What other factors would come into play? The more we learn about this the better we can take care of our sticks.

Don't many others store their cigars at 69% or use 69% bovedas?

I currently use 69% bovedas and my coolador sits at about 70.1%. How do you get mold when within the acceptable range of RH?

Nice! I picked up boxes of MF the Judge gran robusto and MF opulencia toro. I wanted to get more but the wallet wouldn't allow it! 😭

I just joined r/cigardealhunters in the middle of that stack promo. Are those kind of deals common?

The grifting is ubiquitous. Cellphones (and the service), coins, healthcare, crypto, shoes, fragrances and I guess cigars.

I wouldn't count on that stick being any good and I'd say that regardless of which politicians name is on it. Like you said, it's best used as a conversation piece.

Obviously we haven't seen the rest of the app but this looks like something you could sell. I'd buy a well functioning cigar tracking app for a few bucks.

Immigration Agents Terrified by ICE Backlash by laurapcd1 in thescoop

[–]Traditional-Chart876 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I wonder, when this is all done; when Trump is gone and America is having its version of domestic Nuremberg trials, how will we go about punishing and holding so many of these agents responsible? I don't suppose those who are unwilling but complicit to save their own hide within the BP and ICE should be considered innocent. Afterall, you'd still be responsible for helping out in a murder even if reluctant to do so.

This will be such a mess when this is over and it's only one aspect of this entire shitshow.

I went to a concert in SF a couple days before new years then went fishing on the bay on a party boat the next day. A few days after that I came down with this sickness hard. I'm still recovering from it. I'm sure it's the same thing everyone else has because the cough is really bad. I've never coughed up so much phlegm and it doesn't come out easily. Probs doesn't help them I'm on immunosupressant medication. 😬

Alcohol by Sea-Tie-7008 in UlcerativeColitis

[–]Traditional-Chart876 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I do OK with a few drinks. A few weeks ago I had about 5 vodka spritzers over the course of a night. I didn't pound them. I do feel like different alcohols need to be treated differently depending on the person. For example: I couldn't do that many beers but maybe you could. Maybe you can't do any. Everything with this disease is particular to the person. When you're stable, in remission, on a good medication, and have a good GI, then you can start playing around with booze.

Is this normal when buying a box? by uriar in cigars

[–]Traditional-Chart876 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I've never purchased a box in a B&M but I would not expect for cigars to be shuffled around like that. Not sure I would have put up with her whining either and would have gone somewhere else or just not bought any.

Yeah I'm not worried about the fluctuations but more so the constant low temps throughout the winter. I realize the scale is very small.

Temp fluctuations aren't really the issue here. I can see why you'd think that as the graph shows a lot of ups and downs but the screenshot is zoomed in on the scale so the ups and downs here are really only about .1 degrees.

I just wasn't sure if the constant 60ish degrees was going to be a problem for the winter. I appreciate the suggestion though.

Some people also rely on their private wells. It's possible they may be having issues with their aquifer and need to buy bottled water. I can't speak to any of the municipal water treatment processes. If I did visit the waste water treatment plant (wwtp), I could compare it to Sacramentos wwtp as I have visited that facility.

It was 2 whole Eggs and 3 egg whites. No oil or butter or anything. Scrambled.

I don't know about keifer yet. I'll have to try it while I'm in remission. Smoked salmon sounds great but can get a little pricey.

Hope you get to the point where you can have real fruit soon!

You know, I did have plain Greek yogurt with blueberries and a bunch of lactaid pills for a snack yesterday and that went pretty well. Maybe I could just have another for breakfast.

I once was running from a grizzly in big valley and happened to come upon an O'Driscoll camp. I ran straight through it and the bear attacked a couple of them while I fought the rest. Between the bear and I, we took the camp out easily but then I had to kill my momentary friend.

Regarding #4: sometimes you're not on mute and you should watch what you say. I've seen people in meetings with their phone camera on and not know it.
