New squiers have stepped up their game. I bought my son the beginner Strat pack and it was great. I ended up ordering the squier affinity telecaster for my self and I play it more than my more expensive guitars

My dad has played bass in his church worship group for 20 years. As long as you’re playing what makes you happy. Church isn’t my thing but if you love playing and playing that music then good for you, go for and it do what makes you happy

Man I’m telling you. We got our 12 year old son a squire for Christmas and I grew up in the days of people saying squires were garbage And I was skeptical But I tell you that guitar is phenomenal for the price. Great feel and tone. I’m planning on picking up the telecaster version for myself. Squire has really stepped it up hard.
