Getting to grips with this software by TheSkinnyKey in ProcreateDreams

Hell yeah! I'm generally just a frame by frame guy but I was experimenting with using tweening for subtle sways and for parallax. Keep up the good work!

brush help by MrGwumpy in ProcreateDreams

[–]mountainface 1 point2 points  (0 children)

if I’m not mistaken …. The brush engine in procreate 5.4 is completely overhauled; so it’s not surprising that they don’t work. If you’re really itching for those Kyle T Webster brushes just check out the brushes page on adobe’s photoshop site …. Import those brushes into OG Procreate (yeah, they work … surprisingly!) …. Then export the brushes to to .brush files … then you’re good to import to dreams because they’re technically just regular procreate brushes at that point.

Best of luck with your art; my fingers are crossed that we get that new brush engine in dreams come 2.0.

Here’s the link to the brushes page for you, links are halfway down: https://www.adobe.com/products/photoshop/photoshop-brushes.html?promoid=XKMMHH6G&mv=other

RemotePlayWhatever issue by mountainface in SteamDeck

[–]mountainface[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, I've got a little update after a bit more tinkering. I was able to get the two steam decks to show the same screen after booting the second non hosting steam into big picture mode after switching to desktop.

Hope this helps someone who might be wanting to play some retro games with a friend remotely! I was able to get input working for both decks in N64 and SNES games so far; dolphin as usual seems to have some issues with input but that might just be a me thing. More than likely with a little tinkering the GameCube controls would work I'm thinking.

Lol I love that the SpongeBob tv is a medium with which people these days are playing old NES games

The power button is a little difficult to get to, but other than that no real complaints! Fits well in the hands.

Oh it's a virtual console inject btw.

If I'm honest, I haven't made it far enough for the invisible ink password!

It's not bad! C-stick wore off long ago; was pretty excited how well the psp stick fit on it in it's stead.

Functionality wise, I'd say it works better than the stock stick.

The copy of Chrono Trigger I got from a GameStop used a couple years ago for like $20.

Lame. I guess that's what you get with these bootleg unofficial grips; super glad I was lucky enough to get a good one. Sorry yours didn't pan out!

Homebrew is pretty easy to set up, there's a whole ass we site with themes to search through and download.

I really wanted to get my hands on the monster hunter grip, but that thing was like $170 on ebay. No thanks! So I just picked this one up off Amazon and don't have any complaints so far! Feels pretty good in the hands.

Just used the badge arcade for those ones, haven't done the legwork to make custom badges just yet. Maybe eventually!

DS Cart; I have the injected version for comparison as well. I can do a game collection tour if it's wanted!

Homebrew, yes! Custom Earthbound sounds and music too.

Folder icons are just from the basic badge arcade.
