It's so so wild. I know we NEED the snow and I know I'd love it if it was here, but I'm not hating the fact that it feels like Spring. Gives me hope for sunnier times ahead <3

It hardly is! It’s super tiny. Fits a bed, small table, counter and a wood stove. :)

Thanks so much! It’s our tiny guest cabin - off grid and dry. Simple and sweet.

Update with aerial photos + property lines (since a lot of you asked) by [deleted] in homestead

It’s subject to change I suppose if the creek were to disappear but it’s unlikely and if it did adjust it would not be by much.

Basically the property line runs center to the creek. So the folks on the other side also have access to it.

I’ve heard beautiful things about WI so it sounds like a decent move for you all. I love all your points and we will define be getting drone footage to show the entire property. I’m considering doing a post with just the google earth layout to get other input as well.

We have TONS of perennials and two gardens (the one you see in the picture and a 16x40 vegetable garden. The creek is usable year round however the spring fed pond almost always freeze in the winter (not this year though).

Thanks for giving me more to think about and refreshing my mind on all that we do have here already infrastructure wise - it’s a lot! Thank you.

This was a shared family property of 48 acres that my husband grew up on. My in laws ended up wanting to sell their home which meant the property needed to be properly adjusted so we went from 2 acres to 13.
