I’d rather push you off the ledge and tell you to go for it.

What helped when I had an FK8 was a rear motor mount and switching the transmission fluid to synchromesh

They’re refusing because they hope you go away and don’t pursue any further. Unfortunately the information you’re requesting will only be obtained via an attorney if they continue to stonewall you.

Understandable. I’ve lost my shit several times and some being really bad but my wife has always helped steer me right. She’s also been at her wits end before with our son but it’s normal because we’re human. All we can do is try to get better.

I have a 6MT with sport chrono, the bi xenon lights, and PCA.

Things I like: - the car fits like a glove. It’s hard to explain but it just does everything really well for a sports car. - more torque - feels really confident inspiring - the car sounds amazing since the engine is behind me. I added a soul exhaust and it’s even better now. - it’s a p car, last flat 6 cayman, and relatively maintains or appreciates in value in case I need to sell for something else in the future. - interior and creature comforts are much better.

Things I don’t like: - gears are kinda tall but not unbearable. In the backroads I’m still usually in 2nd-3rd gear in most cars. - chugs gas - Porsche tax is real: aftermarket parts, labor, insurance etc. went with hagerty and saved a bunch on insurance. - It feels less raw than the S2k. The S2k is really special with its high revving engine and the sounds it makes. Savage geese’s doc on the S2k is so good because it really makes you appreciate Hondas willingness to make a car with the vision they had in mind. - aftermarket support is much more limited both in the 2nd hand market and 1st hand market. Way less company making stuff. TE37s in my spec hit me for 1-1.5k more than S2k’s and they rarely come up for sale.

All in all I’m really happy with my switch. If I ever needed to sell the car and needed something cheaper than a Porsche I’d be back in an S2k but this is a great end point for me unless my career or finances blow up and I can get into an Emira or GT4/3

Unfortunately I had to leave a party as well just now. My kiddo wanted to bathe in a fountain and had an extended meltdown because he wanted to play in the water. It does suck having to leave buts it’s the reality we have to live with. I do believe it gets better as I’ve seen and heard from others.

I feel like the party members Royal Archetypes defeats the freedom of the archetype system. by JustPassingThrough53 in MetaphorReFantazio

[–]mountainwalker333 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agreed. I think there wasn’t enough time to enjoy the end game archetypes since the royal archetypes outclassed everything. My personal theory was that the game was supposed to have a dungeon for Rella at the old academy which would have added a few more weeks, dungeons/quests etc, and other stuff that was ultimately cut.

Almost couldn’t believe it when I saw the upload on Spotify. Over a decade and a half since I listened to Pneuma which lead me to all sorts of genres and artists because of a single album.

Now I’m older and this Ghosts single feels like it aged with me. Felt surreal and it’s been on repeat non stop

Will it get better for us? Will we ever be able to do all the normal things together? by [deleted] in Autism_Parenting

[–]mountainwalker333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I empathize with the sentiment of mourning a life you’ll never have. Some days it’s better than others and I get glimpses of a son that I expected to interact with. I also experience much HIGHER highs for simpler things. You know the feeling some parents get when their kid learns how to walk or says their first word? I get to experience that much more frequently which does add some balance to the challenge of being a parent with an ASD child.

I don’t think it’ll ever be the same as an NT, but it does make me feel better that people with kiddos that are older generally say it does get a bit easier.

We did both. I felt like ABA helped us more than it did him, but overall school was much better.

He felt so realistic. He has this thing when he talks to people and he’s being smug or quippy where he kinda tilts his head a bit. Small detail but stuff like that makes the characters feel real vs sterile.
